FIFA World Cup competition

This contest is being run for fun and as a fund raiser by the Haslemere Local Committee of Cancer Research UK.   Half of the entry money will be paid in prizes - the rest goes to the charity.

The challenge:  use your skill and knowledge of Football predict the result of each match in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Basic game:  Predict the result of each match (team A wins, team B wins or a draw - no team wins).  More points for later rounds than for the pool games.  And then predict the semi-finalists, the finalists and the goals scored by each side in the final.

How to play:

a) fill out the web form here and then send a cheque to the address below (or pay online)

b) download a copy of the entry form and follow the instructions

c) fill out a copy of the paper entry sheet

We now have a PayPal online payment facility on this web site so that you can pay directly using debit or credit cards, or your PayPal account if you have one.

All entries (paper or online) will be logged with their payment status on the Results page and positions will be updated regularly as the match results arrive.
